Premier League announces Christmas and New Year fixtures schedule

The Premier League has announced its festive schedule, with games scheduled for 10 of the 11 days between 26 December and 5 January.

The dates for the three rounds have been changed for television and to ensure teams have more time between games.

There will be seven matches on 26 December, when the Premier League returns for the first time since 13 November following the World Cup in Qatar.

No team will play twice in 48 hours, as has happened before.
