PSG owners QSI in talks with Premier League club as they look to acquire minority stake: reports

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Qatar Sports Investment (QSI), owner of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), seeks to expand its business. They plan to invest in several clubs in 2023, including Premier League teams.

CBS Sports reported that PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi had a meeting with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy earlier this week. The North London side, however, refuted these claims.

In addition to Spurs, QSI is also interested in investing in clubs in South America. They already own 23% of the shares of the Portuguese SC Braga.

QSI is holding exploratory talks with clubs at the moment and nothing concrete has been decided on the matter yet.

While Liverpool owners FSG have declared the club up for sale, QSI has not approached the Merseyside side. Its aim is to make minority investments in various teams around the world.
