Wilfred Ndidi returns to Leicester City training ahead of Premier League clash with Manchester City

Wilfred Ndidi returned to training after the Leicester City midfielder missed four matches due to injury was not named in the round roster.

Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi has returned to Leicester City training as the Foxes prepare for their clash with Manchester City on Saturday 29 October.

Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury and was out of action for much of October as Brendan Rodgers also didn’t want to risk playing him against Wolverhampton.

The 25-year-old was photographed alongside his teammates during practice, as posted Wednesday morning on the club’s official social media accounts.

Ndidi a boost for Nigeria

Ndidi’s return will also be a big boost for Super Eagles coach José Peseiro, who is preparing his squad for friendlies against Costa Rica and Portugal next month.

The three-time African champions will face Los Ticos in a farewell game in San José on November 10, before taking on Portugal in Lisbon a week later.
